The WIZ-IP20 is a Serial-to-Ethernet conversion module built on WIZnet's W55RP20 ioNIC MCU, designed to add Ethernet networking to UART- or SPI-based devices without extensive firmware development. Housed in a compact MAG-JACK form factor (32.5 × 16.5 × 17.3 mm), the module integrates the RJ45 connector with magnetics and exposes the serial and control signals on a 2.54 mm pin header for direct on-board integration. With support for up to 921,600 bps serial speed, 10/100 Mbps Ethernet, and a wide range of network protocols including TCP server/client, UDP, SSL TCP client, MQTT/MQTTS and Modbus RTU/ASCII, the WIZ-IP20 provides a flexible foundation for industrial connectivity, IoT gateways and embedded networking applications. RS-232C and RS-422/485 communication can be implemented by adding the appropriate transceiver circuitry. Configuration is available via AT commands, the WIZS2E Config Tool or the integrated web interface, and the firmware can be updated over-the-air. With an industrial operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C and KC, FCC and CE certifications, the WIZ-IP20 is suited for demanding industrial environments.
