Details

Compact size network module based on the W5500

Product Description

WIZ850io is an compact size network module that includes a W5500 (TCP/IP hardwired chip with embedded PHY) a transformer and RJ45. The module is designed to be a fully pin-compatible replacement of the WIZ820io which has been widely used in the market over the last few years. The WIZ850io has a very small form factor and is just a little bigger than a usual RJ45 connector. The connection from the WIZ850io to your microcontroller is done by SPI mode 0 & 3. Already existing projects with the WIZ820io can be transformed to be used with the WIZ850io by modifing the firmware.

Features

  • Plugin network module
  • based on W5500
  • High Speed SPI support (mode 0, 3)
  • 8 hardware sockets with up to 32 kB total memory
  • Power Down & Wake-on-Lan functionality
  • 23 x 25 mm PCB size with 2.54 mm pitch
