The W7500S2E-D1 is a compact serial-to-Ethernet module of WIZnet's W7500S2E family, based on the W7500 hardwired TCP/IP MCU (ARM Cortex-M0, 48 MHz) with an external IC Plus IP175LF 3-port Ethernet switch with integrated PHYs. It distinguishes itself from the other family members (R1, S1, Z1, C1) by featuring two RJ-45 ports connected through this internal switch. Both ports share a single MAC address and TCP/IP stack, which allows two devices to be connected to the same logical network endpoint or several W7500S2E-D1 modules to be daisy-chained over a single network cable without an external switch. The module supports TCP server, TCP client and UDP operating modes, with serial baud rates up to 460,800 bps and an external RS-485 transceiver enable pin. Configuration is available via the WIZS2E ConfigTool (Windows), an integrated web interface or AT commands.
